Ian,

Still trialling the footy tips with Round 1 NRL 2012. I have 11 members and am having problems with users who have Hotmail email accounts (2) and 1 using Windows live. They receive the tipping sheet OK but can't enter selections and return, they've had to phone me with selections which is what I'd really like to avoid. I'm using MY mail email settings for sendout/return. Is there any advantages in using your preferred method.

Check out http://www.kirbyfooty.com/forum/index.php?topic=409.msg1328#msg1328
Also the tippers may need to save the attached html tipping sheet onto their desktop, and then open it.

Not really. As long as the emails with the tipping sheets are sent out then that is the most important thing.
If the settings you have chosen work, and you are happy with it, then I would continue doing what you are doing.

I use the internal method because it does not rely on external email programs that may have different security settings. For example I know Microsoft Outlook will always come up with a security message that another program is trying to send email through it. For me this was a real pain is the butt.

Some internet security programs also prevent other programs from directly sending emails through your email program.
At the end of the day you have to decide which is easier for you.
As I said before the main thing is the tippers get the tipping sheets ok.
