Hi Ian,

Just wondering if KA has got anything to do with the strange thing happening with my backup folder. I keep having several hundreds of files being added every now and then. Each file is about 50MB and has totalled over 45Gig!!!. All the files bear the name AutomaticSystemBackup_20091230_031426_TOTAL.Z356, only differing by their extension numbers which are serially and chronologically arranged. Please what should I do?

Hi Tops

I don't think it is Kirby Alarm's backup function that is doing that.
KA's backup function does not have the ability to make achive copies with the date/time extension.

Could you be using any other backup program you may have forgotten about?

Kind regards

The problem was finally solved today. You were right, it had nothing to do with Kirby alarm. What I finally did after a lot of headache finding information while fearing a crash was to remove the entire replicates all at once and that was it! Thanks for your kind response.
