My pop-up alarms are suddenly not displaying correctly. They are often blank or split screen. I think the problem started when I had several alarms pop up when I was away.

Am running v. 4.45 with WinXP Pro fully updated.

Any suggestions? Should I un/reinstall?

I don't know if this is related... but I cannot close KA by right clicking on the icon in the System tray and choosing Exit. Nothing happens when I do this.

I can close it as a Process with Task Manager.

Can you try something else for me please?

(1) Exit KA (right click on the tray icon and select exit, or use task manager to kill the process)
(2) delete the kirbywin.ini file located in the kirby alarm pro folder
(3) delete the formats.fdb file located in the kirby alarm pro folder
(4) restart KA

I hope this helps. If not please let me know

This seemed to be the fix I needed. So far anyway... alarms are popping up again normally.
