Ian or other Kirby User,

After much research, I'm unable to solve this puzzle.

Background

I'm running Kirby Pro 4.44

It seems it all started after I enabled the Kirby Service and then removed the service.

Problem

I get the following Warning at each boot.

Title of Window - Kirby Alarm Pro Service

Warning Kirby Alarm Pro cannot load as another instance is already running OK

I click OK and continue.

Winpatrol Plus shows 2 instances of Kirby in the "Startup Programs" tab.

MSCONFIG shows 2 instances of Kirby in the "Startup Tab", one in Common Startup, one in Startup, both are checked. If I uncheck one, close MSCONFIG, and reopen it, only one instance of Kirby is shown and it is unchecked.

The only profile that has Kirby in the Startup folder is "All Users"

Kirby is not running as a service.

The only way I can get Kirby to run at startup is to live with the Warning mentioned at the beginning.

Due to uninstall/reinstall, I'll need a new registration key.

I hope you had a great vacation.

Hi Rodger

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
I only got back from holidays a couple of days ago and things have been very hectic.

Are you sure there is only one short cut to kirby alarm pro in the start up section of your start menu?
(This is also applicable in the start up section of the start menu for all users)

Right click on the "Start" button and explore the shortcuts in the "StartUp" folder. The StartUp folder is a sub folder of "Programs"
Can you then do the same for "All Users".

With regard to the new registration code, I have sent you it in a personal email.
