Author Topic: Cannot send email ( Reminder ) using Kirby 4.27.4 , ERROR MESSAGES, See Attached  (Read 100 times)

I have been using Screenshot Capture for around 10 years, ( now have version 4.27.4 ) all okay, but recently, CANNOT get it to send a email reminder Huh
i am using *** Outlook Express 6*** ( NOT Outlook ) ... Ive reinstalled Driver MSOERT2.dll, still no joy .......ive tried everything i know ! Helppppppppppppppppppp

Hi

Can you please try upgrading KA to version 4.45.
Exit KA.
Download and run http://www.kirbyfooty.com/downloadkirbyalarmpro.php
Then update to v5.02. See http://www.kirbyfooty.com/forum/index.php?topic=686.msg2600#msg2600 for details.
Restart KA

I also suggest installing KA to c:\kirby alarm pro rather than in the program folders.
This is to overcome problems with windows virtualization.

If you still have problems then I think the only option is to use kirby's internal method to sent emails.

Hi, I STILL cannot send email, I just installed 4.45 ( Trial Version ? ) (Old serial numbers didnt work incidentally ) ..
Cannot send using O.EXpress or Internal .... Ps, I cannot set a time say 21.33, as it goes up in sets of 10 Huh?so only 21.40 ? unlsess i manually type in 21.33 Huh

You should be able to use the internal method. Did you enter the smtp details?

Mine goes up in sets of 5. Otherwise you will have to enter the time manually if you want say 21:33

I didnt purchase the 'Pro' ! I will have to use OLDER version then, as i like to enter 21.33 by arrow button, its quicker, than entering in 'Manually' ( IM used to this as have had Kirby for 10 years or longer ! ) ... RE: Cannot send via email, i keep getting error messages as per my Original post ( Screenshots ) HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?? Thanks

Very sorry, but if you did not purchase kirby alarm, then you will have to use the old free version v2.21.

I am a little confused how you are using v4.27. v3.0 was the last free version.

Let me get this straight.
You have been using a pirated version of Kirby for 10 years or more and now you want my help?Huh?

For what it's worth I just tested v5.02 sending an email using all three methods (internal, your email program, microsoft outlook) and they all worked.
