Hi Ian,

Just running a 'tester' before the competition proper starts and have these errors when using the email server to post tips automatically.






The tips are still posting okay if I click 'No' and 'OK'

I'm using a yahoo email account.

Any solution is appreciated. Everything else seems perfect.

Hi Dan

Very unusual..

Sometimes these kind of errors are due to a slow internet connection or email congestion.

Can you please exit the program.
Then delete the TmpPOP3.tps file located in the kirby footy folder (it is a temporary file so it may have already been deleted. Don't worry if you cannot find it)

Then try again.

If the problem persists then let me know.
We can then arrange a suitable time for me to call you and then remotely connect to your computer so we can find the answer.

Just a followup on this problem..

Dan discovered that if the Browse Members screen was open then the problem with posting the tips occurred.
If the Browse Member screen was NOT open then it all worked ok.

I will see if I can replicate and fix this, otherwise the easy work around is to not have the Browse Members screen open.

Hi Ian,

Perhaps it's not a bug at all.... I did a clean re-install and the all is working as it should. I started from scratch and didn't install from last season. Definitely something awry with my data and not Kirby.

Damn.. the same error messages are back if member's screen is running. Will use the work around.
