GMail have added a new security setting for 'less secure apps'.

If your tippers are sending the tips back to your gmail account, and you want kirby footy to post the tips for you, then this affects you.

Gmail will send an email to your gmail account saying something like 'we recently blocked a sign in attempt to your gmail account....)

Open the email and then click on the lick to change the account settings. (see 1.jpg)
Then click "Turn On". (see 2.gmail)

Kirby Footy should then be able to access your gmail emails to allow posting of tips.

To send the emails using gmail you also need to tell gmail to use the the less secure apps option.

The attached files show how.

1. left click on the menu icon in gmail and select "My Account" (see 1.jpg)
2. go to the "Sign In & Security" section and then slide the "allow less secure apps" option to on (see 2.jpg)
3. double check the settings in kirby (see 3.jpg for an example)
